Businesses are confronting a
challenge of mastering a grown and heterogenic IT-infrastructure.
Typical criteria are missing- or fixed connections between business
applications, system- and user specific processes as well as the user
interfaces in front end. The hence resulting problems are mainly missing
data quality, inadequate compliance of standards and guidelines, as well
as system- instead user oriented (people ready) user interfaces.
The BizT@lk Strategic Integration Event
The “BizT@lk Strategic
Integration”-Event meets the challenge and teaches during various
lectures a broad understanding of integrated IT-Infrastructure
landscapes. Starting with a conceptual approach the potential of
benefits, operational areas and concrete project management approach for
the realization of integration projects will be explained. Only through
reduction of the complexity and heterogeneity in the system landscapes
businesses can boost their flexibility and adaptability, to be in line
with the permanent change of the markets.
Based on the actual demands to the mostly still heterogenic IT-infrastructure
in businesses you can learn about new conceptual approaches to connect
business applications (EAI) and processes (BPM) and integrate clients,
partners and suppliers business wide.
Subsequently questions about the benefits of integrated IT-infrastructures
and the impact on the business success will be discussed. Especially the
potentials of integration solutions and their measurability will be
exemplified.
The second part of the event deals with practice oriented integration
examples. First the architecture concepts as well as the implementation
of products i.e. Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006, Microsoft SQL Server
2005, Microsoft Windows Workflow Foundation, and Microsoft Office
SharePoint Server 2007. Also the question is raised: When and for which
scenario do I use which product?
Finally the complete project management approach, planning and
implementation of integration projects are discussed. Starting with the
agreements and requirements we will introduce an integration concept,
and an efficient project implementation.
